PRP or Vampire treatments use growth factors from the patient’s body to rejuvenate cells and reduce the signs of aging.
There may be some confusion about Vampire treatments that use PRP procedural techniques. Even though it sounds scary, it’s truly an effective, safe, natural procedure that uses your blood to turn back the hands of time and regenerate new cellular growth.
If you’re not familiar with the term, PRP is a therapy that uses a concentration of growth and healing factors derived from your blood. Because of the concentration, it’s powerful enough to renew tissue growth which can help speed healing.
PRP procedures have been used to treat wounds and injuries for several years, and have also been used in cardiovascular, spinal and dental procedures. Vampire treatments were pioneered by Dr. Charles Runels and have become popular in the aesthetic world. It is now one of the most widely used natural treatments for cellular rejuvenation.
The Vampire PRP Procedures can help with:
- Wrinkles
- Frown lines
- Volume loss
- Scarring
- Acne
- Breast enhancement
- Stress incontinence
- Vaginal rejuvenation
- Hair loss
- Hand rejuvenation
How Does It Work?
Treatments begin with a blood draw of about 60 to120cc, which is then put into a special centrifuge processor to separate plasma and platelets, which usually takes about 40 minutes. The result is a serum that is rich in bioactive proteins and growth factors. The serum, also called “platelet-rich plasma” is collected in syringes and injected into the targeted tissue areas, which stimulates stem cells to repair and create new, youthful tissue.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not surprisingly, we get a lot of questions from our clients. Here are some of the questions that are most commonly asked:
Does the procedure hurt?
Each person responds differently. To help manage pain, we can use a variety of pain management techniques during treatment to ensure your comfort.
Will I have to take time off work to recover?
Most of our clients are back at work the same day.
What are the benefits of the Vampire treatments or PRP?
Because PRP is made from components of your blood, it eliminates the risk of allergic reaction, skin irritation or outright rejection of the serum by the body. More than 60,000 PRP procedures have been performed to date.
Do you have special training?
We were trained and certified by Dr. Charles Runels, the inventor of the Vampire treatments.
Which Vampire treatments do you perform?
We are trained and experienced with all of the Vampire procedures, (Vampire Facelift® , Vampire Facial® , Vampire O-Shot®,Vampire Breast Lift (TM), Vampire Hair Rejuvination)
Which centrifuge System do you use?
The centrifuge we use is a very sophisticated system that has the ability to bring the concentration level of PPR to over 7-fold, most other systems may reach 4- fold. We are confident of the quality of PRP that we can bring to our patients.
Keep in mind that not all centrifuges are the same which means that not all PRP is the same. The centrifuge we use is also a “closed system” which is a very important feature, ensuring quality PRP, and reducing the risk of contamination.
